FAQ

Can I buy a cake for today?

Yes, we would recommend you book a cake here www.ondemand.zeeandelle.com before making your way down, or alternatively you may drop by our studio during opening hours.

How long in advance do I have to make an order?

For our classic cream cakes and mini cakes, a 2 days notice is required. (i.e. on Tuesday, you can order for Thursday). For all other customised cakes, 5 to 7 days notice depending on design. You may utilise our filter at the sidebar to filter cakes out by the number of days notice needed.

Are you Halal Certified?

We are not halal certified at the moment, but we strictly do not use any pork, lard, or alcohol products in our entire kitchen.

I am overseas and would like to buy a cake for someone in Singapore. Do you accept overseas payments?

Yes, we do accept credit cards and Paypal for all online orders.

Do you deliver? How much is delivery charges?

Yes we do deliver islandwide. Enjoy free islandwide delivery with above $100 spend.

Time slots: Tuesday- Saturday: 9AM-2PM OR 2PM-7PM.
Sunday: 9AM-12PM OR 12PM-3PM

You may specify a 1 hour time slot for the cake to arrive.

We're not liable for deliveries. Kindly self collect as much as possible.
For deliveries to hotels, shopping malls, and other restricted zones, the cake would have to be strictly collected from the main lobby or nearest pick up point by default. If you wish for delivery directly to the room or restaurant, please write in to inform us. A surcharge of $5 would apply.

Can I self collect my cake?

Self Collection is strictly from our studio at 524 Macpherson Road Singapore 368215.
Collection Time Slots
11.30AM-7PM for Tuesdays-Fridays
10AM-5PM for Saturdays
10AM-2PM for Sundays

By Train / Bus: Our nearest MRT Station is Tai Seng MRT. Exit via A/B onto Irving Road and walk 10 minutes to our studio, or take bus 62 and alight at Aft Jln Belangkas.

Nearest Parking: Outside our studio (Limited slots). Alternatively, more parking slots are available at 82 and 83A Macpherson Lane, a 4 min walk from our studio.

It is highly recommended that you drive when self collecting customised cakes (both one tiered or two tiered) as the cake would be packed in a transparent box tied with ribbon. Plastic bags are not recommended for stability. It is recommended to have someone hold the cake on your lap throughout the journey. Should you require more information like box size, please drop us a call and we would be happy to help.

What happens if I am not around during delivery?

Our deliveryman would call or text you if no one answers the door upon delivery. Please ensure that you are contactable and have arranged for someone to receive the cake. A 10 minute waiting period will apply. Failure to do so would result in the cake being brought back to the studio. You may choose to self collect or opt for re-delivery ($10, and subjected to availability).

Someone else is collecting the cake on behalf of me. What should I take note of?

Do ensure that the person is aware of your invoice number and your full order details and specifications as the cake has to be signed off to acknowledge upon receiving.

I am sending a cake to surprise a friend, what are some things I should take note of?

Do not worry, we do not print the invoice with the prices of the item for deliveries, so not a worry about the recipient seeing the price :)

Do ensure the recipient is present, aware and contactable during the chosen delivery time slot.
*A 10 minute waiting period will apply. Failure to do so would result in the cake being brought back to the studio. You may choose to self collect or opt for re-delivery ($10, and subjected to availability).

How do I store my cake or desserts?

Cream/ Vegan/ Sugar free cakes: Keep refrigerated till just before serving.

Buttercream cakes: Buttercream cakes should be consumed at room temperature. They can be displayed in an air con room for 3-4 hours, which is best for events or weddings. If refrigerated, please thaw cakes till soft to cut, about 2.5 hours (air con room), and 1 hour (non air con room). Do not consume straight from the fridge as the cake will be crumbly and hard to cut.
All our cakes are delivered cold and straight out from the fridge. Please factor in this time when picking a cake collection/ delivery timing.

Desserts: Our desserts are best eaten cold and refrigerated till just before serving, on the same day. Elsewise, they can be left in an air con room for 2-3 hours.

Our cakes are best consumed on the day itself as we use all-natural ingredients. To ensure freshness, we recommend you store the cake slices in air tight containers for at most 2 days after cake collection.

My cake contains sugar decorations. How should I care for them?

If your cake contains fondant pieces or sugar decorations, we will pack the fondant pieces which can be self placed easily separately for you. However, do note that there are some pieces that cannot be packed separately.

Hence, as much as possible, please collect your fondant/sugar decorations cake as close to cake cutting time as possible and keep the cake in a cold air-conditioned room for up to 3-4 hours at most as not all pieces can be self-removed, and if refrigerated, might melt or form a sticky glossy exterior due to Singapore's humidity.

If unsure if there are fondant pieces on your cake, or if we would be packing them separately, please check with our team and we would be more than happy to assist you.

Disclaimer for Dark Coloured Cakes

Do kindly note that this cake uses a dark coloured frosting and might leave some stains on teeth and skin. Please rest assured that the food colouring used is food grade safe. If this is a concern for you, we would recommend opting for other cake designs if possible.
