Terms & Conditions, Cake Care

It is the customers' responsibility to read through the following Terms & Conditions. By using the Site and/or placing an order for products from us, you agree to follow and to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. 

GENERAL:

We may modify or update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Your continued usage of the Website constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by the Terms and Conditions as changed. You should check this page regularly to take notice of any changes we may have made to the Terms and Conditions. 

ORDERING:

a) Order cancellations and order amendments are not allowed once total order payment has been completed. 

b) Requests sent after operating hours will not be entertained till the next working day

c) Slots are given first come first served basis based on the timing when payment has been made. No slots are confirmed or reserved unless payment is received. In the event that not slots are available, a refund will be made to your original mode of payment.

d) Cake slots can be taken up at any time of the day and there may be instances where the date got fully booked while we're in the midst of a discussion. Do note that we're not obliged to take in all orders and we reserve the rights to turn down an order despite being in the midst of discussion.

e) Please ensure the correct item has been selected before you complete the checkout process. We will not be able to amend orders once they have been confirmed and we will not be held liable in the event the wrong item is selected.

f) We reserve the right to accept or reject any order(s).

CAKE CARE:

a) Do note that cakes can last in a cold air-con room for 2-4 hours (depending on how cold the room is). Elsewise, it would need to be refrigerated. If refrigerated, kindly take the cake out from the fridge at least 1.5-2 hours before cake cutting to ensure a soft cake. This is because our cakes use Swiss Meringue buttercream, which contains butter and would harden in the fridge. 

b) It is the customers' responsibility to ensure that the venue has proper storage for the cake. If you need information on the cake box size, or any other details to ensure proper storage, please do not hesitate to ask the team for assistance. We would not be held responsible if the venue does not have proper conditions to store the cake.

c) If there are fondant pieces on your cake, and you're cake cutting within the next 2-4 hours, you can leave the cake in an air con room. If you're not cake cutting within the next 2-4 hours, you must remove the fondant pieces before refrigerating the cake. The fondant pieces can be left in an air con room. You can put the fondant pieces back on the cake again when the cake is out from the fridge.

d) If unsure if there are fondant pieces on your cake, please check with our team via Instagram DM, when collecting, or via email.

e) Our customised cakes are in boxes but do not come with plastic bags.

f) Standard candles and knife are provided if requested.

DESSERTS CARE:

a) Our desserts would come with plastic bags.

b) Our desserts are best eaten cold, but can be left in a cold air con room for 2-3 hours.

SELF COLLECTION:

a) Self collection is strictly at 183 Jalan Pelikat, Promenade@Pelikat, #01-114, Singapore 537643, 12-3PM. Please refer to here for instructions on how to get to the studio. Our Instagram Highlight "How to Get Here" would help as well.

b) Please collect the cake within the timeframe allocated. Cakes that are not collected by closing time would be kept for collection on the next working day. Cakes not collected within 3 days from original date of collection would be discarded and no refunds would be made.

c) Once the cake has been collected, it is deemed as acceptance and we will not bear any responsibility to any damage to the cake thereafter.

d) The person collecting the cake is wholly responsible for checking that the order specifications of the cake received  (including provisions of knives, candles, decorations) are correct and in good condition. Subsequent disputes regarding damage to the cake or incorrect cake design will not be entertained if not raised to our staff at the time of collection.

e) All changes to collection date and time must be made at least 5 DAYS before date of collection. Last minute changes, particularly on the same day, will not be entertained.

f) Changing from a collection to a delivery requires at least 3 DAYS’ notice before original date/time of collection. Regular delivery charges apply and must be paid 3 DAYS before original date/time of collection. If this deadline passes without payment, your order will be processed as a collection. Last minute changes, particularly on the same day, will not be entertained.

DELIVERY:

a) Delivery is an additional charge of $30, additional $5 surcharge applies to Sentosa & Tuas & 3-tier cake deliveries.

b) Please provide a 30 minute time range for delivery as traffic conditions may affect the delivery timing.

c) All changes to delivery date, time and location must be made at least 5 DAYS before date of delivery. Elsewise, these changes would not be entertained.

d) Changing from a delivery to a collection requires at least 3 DAYS' notice before original date/time of delivery. Refunds of delivery fees paid will be wholly subject to our approval. 

e) The deliveryman would call you once he reaches. Please ensure that you're contactable and collect the order during the time slot chosen. A 10 minute waiting period will apply. Failure to do so would result in the cake being forfeited.

f) Do note that each delivery comes with a risk and we're not liable for deliveries. Kindly self collect as much as possible.

g) If the driver arrives at the location and instructions are given to the driver to leave the items outside the premises, such as on a door handle or a cabinet, we will not be responsible for the conditions of these items after delivery.

h) The person who received the cake is wholly responsible for checking that the order specifications of the cake received (including provisions of knives, candles, decorations) are correct and in good condition. Subsequent disputes regarding damage to the cake or incorrect cake design will not be entertained if not raised to the driver at the time of delivery. We will not be responsible for any damage that occurs after the delivery has been completed.

i) If there is an issue with the cake such as a missing item, wrong size, please call +65 90307627 immediately so that we can provide assistance.

CAKE DECORATIONS & SERVING SIZES:

a) Cakes with fresh flowers/fruits: we cannot guarantee an exact size, colour or species of fresh flowers/fruits as it depends on seasonal availability. All images shown during the course of placing your order are for sample purposes only.

b) We are not able to guarantee an exact replication of a cake design, slightest variations in colour and appearance may occur.

c) All weights, recommended servings and sizes are approximations only.

d) Slight changes may be made to your cake design (e.g. placement, arrangement) as we see fit for practical and aesthetic purposes. 

e) Most flowers on our cakes are not edible and only for decoration purposes. If you wish for edible flowers, kindly specify when ordering. Do note that extra charges would apply.
